A letter from your Non-Residence Coordinators Thomas Slabon and Anastasiya Muntanu

RESIDENCE

NON

Hello Incoming Students of 1T7!

Our names are Thomas Slabon and Anastasiya Muntyanu, and we are the Non-Resident Coordinators for Frosh Week 2013. Our job is to help everyone not moving in to residence next year get

used to life at the University of Toronto, and more importantly at Trinity College. We hope you’re ready for the best four years of your life! Over the summer, we’ve planned a number of meet-ups leaving from Trinity for everyone living in Toronto. These will take place:

1. Saturday, July 13, 3pm

2. Tuesday, July 30th from 7-9

3. Thursday, August 22nd from 3-5pm

Also, over the course of Frosh Week, you will have the opportunity to be paired with a resident first-year whose room you can share instead of commuting back and forth each day. In the coming weeks, we’ll be sending out pairing surveys to all incoming resident and non-resident first year students, to help ensure you share a room with someone whose social habits and sleep schedule match most closely with your own. Keep an eye on your email!

If you have any questions about Frosh Week, Trinity College, or life in general as a Non-Resident student, don’t hesitate to send myself (Thomas.Slabon@mail.utoronto.ca) or Anastasiya (Anastasiya.Muntyanu@mail.utoronto.ca) a message, or get in touch with us over Facebook. Next year’s Heads of Non-Resident Affairs, Pujan (Pujan.Modi@mail.utoronto.ca) and Rebecca (Rebecca.Fallowfield@mail.utoronto.ca) would also be happy to answer any questions you may have about Non-Resident life.

Be prepared for the most fun week of your life – our Frosh Weeks certainly were. It’s a time for making friendships that last a lifetime, and for discovering a community that will soon become your home-away-from-home. We look forward to meeting you all!
